Jim Entwisle

Assistant Coach

Jim Entwisle is in his first year as an assistant at Williams College, where he acts as the team’s Infield coach.  He attended the William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, PA, where he played water polo and baseball.  His Senior year, he was named co-captain of the baseball team and was an All Inter-Ac League selection.

Entwisle graduated from Williams College in 2010 with B.A.’s in Spanish and Economics, and was a 4 year member of the varsity baseball team after walking-on his freshman year.  During his tenure, the Ephs secured 4 NESCAC West Division crowns and captured a NESCAC title in 2007, qualifying them for a spot in the NCAA tournament.  

On the diamond, Entwisle played middle-infield but saw most of his time as a 2nd baseman.  As a Senior, he was awarded the James R. Briggs Baseball Award, which  is “presented annually to a member of the varsity baseball team regardless of graduating class who, in the opinion of his teammates, best embodies the ideals of leadership, teamwork, and the values of the student - athlete."
