on Weston Field. Last fall the Bobcats topped the Ephs 35-26.
The Ephs lead the overall series 22-2.

third season at the helm of the Ephs after Williams lost last week
17-13 to Trinity on Weston Field.
Kelton is the first African American head football coach at
Williams and in NESCAC, as well as the first Eph football head
coach to debut with a perfect season.

head coach at Bates. He also serves as an assistant athletic
director at Bates.

LAST MEETING: Bates snapped a 7-game series win streak by the Ephs with a 35-26 victory in Williamstown. The Bobcats' junior QB Trevor Smith connected on two first quarter TDs as Bates took a quick 14-0 lead and never looked back in claiming their second straight win of the 2011 season. Smith threw for 3 TDs on the day and the Bobcats' ground game chalked up 198 yards with 102 coming from Ryan Curit.
The Ephs got 3 rushing TDs and 103 yards on the ground from Tom
Wohlwender, but it was not enough to down the Bobcats.
LAST WEEK: Bates jumped out to an early
14-0 lead at Tufts with a strong rushing attack and then held off
the Jumbos in collecting their first win of the season, 31-23.
Bates ground out 309 yards in rushing in downing Tufts with QB
Trevor Smith gaining 88 yards on 24 carries. The Bates defense held
Tufts to just 7 yards rushing on the day, but surrendered 363 yards
through the air.
In Williamstown the Ephs held a 13-3 lead over Trinity heading into the fourth quarter, but lost 17-13 as Trinity scored twice via the pass in a 5-minute span. The Trinity defense held the Ephs to 227 yards in total offense with 198 coming via the pass.
