BEST POST-GAME TRADITION in AMERICA -- 'The Walk'

So says Sports Illustrated (August 31, 1992) of the Ephs' famed walk up Spring Street following a Homecoming win. 'The Walk' features the Ephs in full uniform walking from Weston Field right up the middle Spring Street to St. Pierre's Barber Shop where cold beverages, cheers, songs and an occasional shaved head cap the day. '

The Walk' in 1999 was a part of the 'Rites of Autumn' that aired on ESPN.
