HADLEY, MA - Williams senior midfielder Meera Sivalingam '12 has been selected to the All-NESCAC and NFHCA New England West First Teams for the 2011 season. This marks the second year in a row Sivalingam has been recieved both honors.
The Ephs finished the season with a 7-8 overall record and 4-6 in conference action, advancing to the NESCAC quarterfinals where Middlebury defeated the Ephs 3-0.
Sivalingam was a strong contributor on both ends of the field, more prominent to the defense as she was the only team member to register a defensive save this year. On offense, Sivalingam racked up five points with two goals and an assist.
Sivalingham was a three-year starter and a co-captain her final season.
