Williams is now broadcasting select sporting events live over the Internet. You can receive these broadcasts free of charge using any computer with broadband access to the Internet (cable, DSL or better).
Saturday, February 21, 2009 the NESCAC men's basketball quarterfinal game between Williams and Bates will be featured as a live video webcast. Game time is 3:00 PM.
You may need to download a program to access the contest.
Instructions for Microsoft Windows computers:
The broadcast is in Windows Media format, and can be played using Windows Media Player. Almost every computer running Windows will have Windows Media Player installed; if yours doesn't you can download it for free using Windows Update.
Instructions for Apple Macintosh:
The broadcast is in Windows Media format, and can be played using the Flip4Mac component for QuickTime. Flip4Mac is a free download from Microsoft and easy to install.
Installing Flip4Mac: Download Flip4Mac The installer should run automatically. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. If you have any problems with the installer or using the component, check the Flip4Mac support web site.
