The Williams College men’s ice hockey team (6-0-1) has moved up to 10th from 11th in the USCHO.com national Division III poll.
Bill Kangas’s Ephs have been idle since December 13 when they blanked visiting Salve Regina 6-0. There will be no easing back into play for the Ephs as they will host archrival Amherst Friday night in a 7:00 PM contest in Lansing Chapman Rink. Both teams are coming in on a roll as Williams has yet to lose in seven games and Amherst has won four in a row.
Amherst ranked 14th is now 7-2-0 on the year having downed Westfield State 3-2 on Sunday.
Williams and Norwich asr the last two undefeated teams in the nation in Division III.
Friday’s meeting will be carried as a live video webcast on the Internet and may be seen here.
Saturday the Ephs will host Hamilton at 3:00
pm to close out the weekend.
