Men's Squash Falls to Harvard

CAMBRIDGE—The Williams men's squash team turned in an impressive performance on Wednesday evening, though the Ephs fell 9-0 to Harvard in the end.

Senior captain Jack Ervasti was closest to a win at the number eight position. Ervasti was able to force a fifth game after falling behind 2-1, but couldn't pull out the fifth game, eventually losing 11-9.

Numerous other Ephs won games off of their Crimson opponents. Sophomore Kevin Chen won a brilliant first game at number three but then dropped the next three in close fashion. Julian Drobetsky's match was nearly the exact same story. Freshman Michael Petrick also won a game, as did junior Andy Maruca.

Williams' depth was on full display again, as freshman Rohan Paranjpe and Conor McClintock each won their matches outside the top nine.

"I thought the men's team had a good showing today, I was pleased that we could push Harvard, especially in the back of the lineup. This was a good performance to end the fall portion of our season," commented head coach Zafi Levy after the match.

Williams will return to action after break with a weekend of home matches, Colby, Yale, and Bowdoin will come to town.
