Dan Greenberg '08 Advances to National Small College Championship Semifinal

MOBILE, AL – At the first day of the ITA National Small College Championships, Dan Greenberg ’08 battled back from one set down to beat Mark Boren of Emory and advance to the semifinals.

After dropping the first set, Greenberg trailed 0-3 in the second before storming back to a 2-6,6-4,6-3 victory.  Head coach, David Donn, acknowledge Greenberg’s tremendous performance,This was a very special win today because of the circumstances. Dan came out well off his ‘A’ game and still found a way to pull the match out in the end, which is something I was very proud of.  He never gave up and was rewarded for his effort."

Greenberg continues to play strong after winning last week’s ITA New England Region Championships.  He is now one of only four remaining Division III player’s competing for the National Small College Championship.  To learn more about the event, visit the ITA website.
