Dartmouth Invitational Day 3

Hanover, New Hampshire- The Ephs wrapped up play at the Dartmouth Invitational with a number of hotly contested matches. Williams showed a lot of heart throughout the day forcing a number of tie breaks.
The Ephs were led by freshman Ben Kelly who rallied from one set down to defeat Boston Universities Regis Chang 4-6,6-2(2).
Bryan Chow showed great poise in his match against Marist's Loic Sessagesimi, after falling in the first set 6-1, Chow was able to battle Sessagesimi into a second set tie break. Unfortunately, it was not Chow's day and Sessagesimi carried the match 6-1,7-6(5).
After a strong first set Senior Co-Captain nick Lebedoff fell to Amherst's Austin Chafetz 6-2,5-7,(9).
First year coach Dan Greenberg saw the Dartmouth Invitational as a perfect lesson for his squad saying, "I thought it was a productive weekend. Today, we lost a lot of first sets, but figured out a way to push our opponents in the second sets and force a few third-set breakers. Not all matches went our way, but all matches taught us how we can compete better, especially early in the match, and how can we can improve technically, as well. I'm looking forward to having a month now to focus on all these things we've learned in the last two tournaments."
The Ephs now set their sights the spring season which is a few short months away.
