Dartmouth Invitational Day 1

Hanover, New Hampshire-The Ephs traveled to the Boss Tennis Center at Dartmouth College to compete in the Dartmouth Invitational. The Dartmouth Invitational attracts some of the top talent from Divisions I and III in New England. The Ephs knew they were in for quite a challenge. Williams battled in all of their matches and came away with two wins.
Playing in Flight A, Senior Co-Captain Nick Lebedoff fell to Buffalo's Kiril Kolomyts 6-3, 7-6 (3). Lebedoff battled to the end but lost in a tight tiebreak.
In Flight B, Bryan Chow narrowly fell in three sets 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-10.
Dylan Page, playing in his first tournament of the year, performed admirably. Page played a marathon match but outlasted Boston University's Alex Hallenbeck 6-2, 6-7 (4), 13-11.
Senior Ben Davidson capped off a strong day for the Ephs by cruising past Alex Kaufman of arch rival Amherst 6-4, 6-2.
The second day of the Dartmouth Invitational begins at 9am tomorrow, October 3.
