CLAREMONT, CA – Two members of the Williams College men's track & field team, Brandon Abasolo and Tomas, Kearney competed in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held in Claremont, CA.
Both Abasolo, a junior, and Kearney, a senior, entered seeded 17th in their events. Abasolo, who also lettered in cross country, was entered in the steeplechase, while Kearney, a football letterman, was in the triple jump.
Abasolo advanced to the finals with a time of 9.17.99 in Thursday's preliminaries. Today Abasolo ran 9:20.78 and finished 11th.
Kearney's lone day of competition was today and he leaped 14.35m (47' 1.00") and finished 18th.
