Ed Grees has been training the Alpine teams at Williams since 1981. His primary focus is to guide his ahtletes in the development of team and pass on his belief that the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) curcuit is a venue where alpine athletes contine to develop and improve during their college years.

Grees graduated from Windham College where he captained the Alpine team. He then competed on the pro circuit for three years before beginning his coaching career. After coaching juniors and running racing camps in the East, Grees worked at Bement School in Deerfield, MA as a ski, tennis and track coach, while completing his MS in Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts.

Grees is a USSCA Internationally licensed Alpine coach. He has worked as an associate coach with the US National Team and more recently spent time with both the men;s and women's Norwegian Europa Cup teams in Europe.

The Williams teams train at Jiminy Peak in Hancock, MA. This venue is considered one of the most challenging hills on the Carnival circuit. The race trail is serviced by a detachable six-person chairlift, has benefit of Jiminy's fine snowmaking capabilities and is groomed with a winch-cat. The Ephs also use nearby Stratton and Okemo ski areas to augument their GS training.
