Despite a slow start and twenty-one turnovers, the Williams women’s basketball team (15-5, 4-1) was able to power past Middlebury (10-9, 2-3) for their fifth consecutive victory and fourth conference win since falling to Bowdoin on January 18.

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – First-year Taylor Shea scored 13 second-half points Saturday to help the Williams College women’s basketball team rally from a 13-point first-half deficit and send archrival Amherst to its first defeat of the season, 64-59.

Hungry to taste their first conference victory of the season, Trinity College came out ready to play on their home court. The Bantams dictated play in the first frame and went ahead by as many as fifteen, but the Williams women’s basketball team proved their tenacity and ability to remain composed down the stretch once more.
