
HADLEY, MA — Williams College senior Jill Greenberg (Westwood, MA) was selected First Team All-NESCAC for the 2011-12 season, it was announced today.
Greenberg, the all-time assists leader at the school, led the Ephs to a 19-6 record. The Ephs point guard all four years of her career -- she played in 100 games, starting 95 -- she paced Williams in points (304), assists (104) and steals (61) this season.
It was the first time in her career Greenberg earned an all-conference selection.
Greenberg finished her career with 489 assists, tops in program history. Her total of 133 in the 2010-11 season is a single-season record at Williams. She was also a scorer, and ended up 13th all-time with 1,068 points. She led the Ephs in steals all four years she played, completing her career with 236 thefts and also helped out on the boards with 345.
Williams went 68-37 over Greenberg's four seasons, a .648 winning percentage. The Ephs made two appearances in the NCAA Div. III Tournament in her tenure.
