Ephs lead Jack Leamon Invite by four shots after 1st day

AMHERST, MA – Anne O'Leary (41-42 = 83) led the Williams
women's golf team to a four-shot lead over Amherst today after the
first round of the Jack Leaman Invitational played at Hickory Ridge
GC in Amherst, Mass..
The Ephs top the 11-team field with a score of 346 followed by
Amherst (350) and Middlebury (351).
O'Leary was one shot off the pace set by Amherst's Haley Milbourne
and Middlebury's Courtney Mazzei who both toured the par 72,
5827-yard layout in 82.
Kait O'Brien posted the Ephs' second best round with an 85 that
featured a 40 on the front nine. Laura Koplik and Lauren Anstey
both shot 89s, while Melissa Barton carded a 90.
The final round of the event will be tomorrow at The Orchards GC,
site of where the Ephs captured the Massachusetts State
Invitational on Friday, in Hadley, Mass.
