The Eph’s Anne O’Leary tied for second place with Aimee Caligore of St. Lawrence with a score of 80, 78 = 158.

In addition to O’Leary’s stellar individual performance, the team managed to come together and was able to overtake Fairfield to place third.  Victoria Student turned in a score of 85 while Gelber and Miller ea ch finished with a score of 86, and Kristen Tubbs followed with an 88.

Coach Erika DeSanty had high hopes for the team this weekend and noted that she was, “Proud of the effort the team showed all weekend, especially considering the less than desirable conditions. The way they pushed through it says a lot.”

In regards to Anne O’Leary’s performance she said, “Anne has continued to imporess me. She is playing consistently well. She was originally struggling but found a way to pull through, which takes stores of mental strength.”

Coach DeSanty is confident that the team is close to accomplishing great things. “The team is committed to pushing each other and we’re so close to breaking through. I’m waiting for it and if we continue to work as hard as he have, I’m sure we’re going to get it.”
