
CORAL SPRINGS, FL -- The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Teams for Division I, II & III were announced today with a total of 585 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.
Three Ephs, coached by Erika DeSanty were recognized this year: junior Becky Miller (Danville, CA) and sophomores Georgi Salant (Encinitas, CA) and Emily Wickstrom (Austin, TX).
Both Miller and Salant earned All-American Scholars last year as well. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

In addition, this Eph trio also earned Academic All-NESCAC honors during the 2011-12 academic year. Miller is a double major (math and history), Salant majors in chemistry, while Wickstrom is also a double major (math and economics).
All three of the honored Ephs were a part of the 5-member team that competed at the NCAA Division III Tournament on the Zollner Golf Course (Trine University), helping lead the Eph team to their highest national finish – 5th.
This spring Salant also collected her second consecutive All-East team honor from the NGCA.
The National Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. Today, the NGCA represents nearly 500 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
