The five Ephs ranked in the New England individual wrestling polls last week have remained in the ranking thanks to strong showings this past weekend at the Budd Whitehill Duals at Lycoming College.
The trio of Eph seniors in the rankings last week have all held their spots: Kaison Tanabe maintained his hold on fifth place in the 133-pound bracket; captain Ces Antista remains second in the 141-pound bracket and Tom Foote holds the second spot in the 285-pound bracket.
First-years Tim Garripoli and Jorge Lopez remained in the rankings as well. Garripoli has now been ranked fifth in the 157-pound classification for two weeks. Lopez, despite going 6-0 this past weekend, slipped from first to second in the 149-pound bracket.
The Ephs also remained in fifth place in the New England team rankings.
On Saturday the Ephs will compete in their first home match of the season when they take on Plymouth State at 1 P.M. in Lasell Gymnasium.
