Ephs boast 5 ranked wrestlers heading into NEWA duals

Five Ephs remain ranked the New England individual wrestling rankings again this week after the Ephs' 41-6 win over Plymouth State last weekend.

First-year grappler Jorge Lopez held his second place spot in the 149-pound bracket, while fellow first-year Tim Garripoli slipped one spot in the polls from fifth to sixth in the 157-pound category.

Three Eph seniors all maintained their spots from the past two weeks: Tom Foote held his second place ranking in the 285-pound category, Ces Antista continues to be ranked second in the 141-pound bracket and Kaison Tanabe remains fifth in the 133-pound bracket.

On Sunday, the Ephs will travel to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI to compete in the NEWA Duals Championships at 10 A.M.

The Ephs will be looking to improve their team ranking of fifth in the New England region with a strong showing this weekend in Providence.
