At the recent NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced that the Williams College Ephs had finished first in the ranking of National Scholar-All-American Wrestling Teams.

Dylan Rittenburg's run at NCAAs halted

"Dylan was up 5-4 going into the 3rd period and we chose down," said co-head coach Dan DiCenzo. "Dylan got out and got another point for a 6-4 lead, but Grawin came back ad took a 7-6 lead with a late takedown."

CEDAR RAPIDS< IA -- Eph sophomore Dylan Rittenburg staged an impressive comeback in the third period to tie his elimination match with sixth-seeded Nick Sanchez of Heidelberg College at 11 and force overtime and advance at NCAA Championships.

Cohen '09, Rittenburg '10 compete at NCAAs

The Williams College wrestling team sent two wrestlers to the Division 3 NCAA Championships, which held its first session Friday afternoon. Junior Ethan Cohen and Sophomore Dylan Rittenburg both drew the number 3 seed at 125 and 141 respectively in the first round.

For the first time since 2005 the Ephs will send two competitors to the NCAA Div. 3 Championships in junior tri-captain Ethan Cohen and sophomore Dylan Rittenburg. The Eph duo is making its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

PORTLAND, ME - Seven Ephs grabbed All-New England honors at the NEWA Championships, propelling their team to an impressive third place finish. The team also received the Sportsmanship and Highest Team GPA awards.

Ephs 3rd After Day 1 of New England Championships

Portland, ME - In the first day of the New England Wrestling Association Championships seven Ephs guaranteed themselves All-New England honors, putting the team in third place going into the final day. Tri-Captains Ethan Cohen '09 and Nic Miragliuolo '08 earned spots in tomorrows finals at 125 and 149, respectively.
