Micheleyne Pinard will enter her seventh season as the head coach of the Williams women’s soccer program in 2008 after guiding the Ephs to a program record 17 wins in a season and an in-season win streak record of 17 that resulted in a perfect regular season, the 2007 NESCAC title and a run in the NCAA Tournament. Pinard's Ephs advanced to the "Sweet 16" in the NCAA Tourney, finishing with a record of 17-1. Pinard was named the 2007 NESCAC Coach of the year and the NSCAA/adidas New England Coach of the Year.

Under Pinard, the Ephs have qualified for the NESCAC Tournament all six years while compiling a regular-season record of 64-22-14 (.710).

In 2004, Pinard’s Ephs won the NESCAC title. Over the last six years, Williams has posted a 5-3-4 record in the conference tournament, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament once (2004) and the "Sweet 16" in 2007.

Pinard is also a assistant coach for the women’s hockey team at Williams. She acted as the interim head coach of women’s hockey for the 2005-2006 season. Prior to coaching at Williams Pinard was an assistant coach for two years at NESCAC foe Middlebury in soccer and ice hockey and at Penn for two years in soccer.

Pinard, a 1998 graduate of Dartmouth College, was named head coach of the Ephs in the spring of 2002, succeeding Lisa Melendy. At Dartmouth Pinard earned a Bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She was a two-sport standout for the Big Green in soccer and ice hockey. Pinard was a key member of the Big Green team that won the 1994 Ivy League title and earned two NCAA tournament berths. In 1998 she won the Mickey Price Award for leadership and commitment on and off the field. While at Dartmouth she also coached the Upper Valley Lightning Soccer Club for four seasons.                                         

In ice hockey Pinard was a four-year letter winner for the Big Green and earned All-Ivy League honors in 1998.

Pinard also earned a Master's degree in psychological services in the Graduate School of Education at Penn in 2002.


Alison Bimba

Alison Bimba is in her first year coaching at Williams and joins the Eph staff from Lesley University where she served as the Lynx head women's soccer coach in 2006.

Bimba was a two-time soccer All-American at Wheaton (MA) before transferring to Division I Villanova University for her final two seasons of eligibility.

Bimba is a certified personal trainer, an avid runner, and she will also serve as an assistant coach of men's and women's track & field for the Ephs.
