HADLEY, MA – Zafi Levy's Williams College women's squash team has three members earn All-NESCAC honors in senior Courtney Bogle (Bronxville, NY), junior Alli Rubin (Boston, MA) and junior Laura Henry (Penn Valley, PA).
Bogle earned First Team honors for the fourth consecutive year. "Nobody deserves this honor more than Courtney," declared Levy. "She has worked incredibly hard over the past four years to improve and develop her game. Courtney has been the team leader for the past two years and a positive influence on the younger players in our program."
Alli Rubin earned her first conference honor and was named to the First Team. "Without a doubt Alli is the player who has improved the most that I have coached at Williams," said Levy. "Alli, has worked hard to improve her strength, speed, and conditioning and has developed into a top player. In many matches this season she moved up to play at the #1 position. Alli's work ethic and dedication to the sport and the team are second to none."
Laura Henry secured conference honors for the second straight year. After earning First Team honors in 2011, Henry was named to the 2012 Second Team. "Despite spending all preseason and the first half of the season abroad, Laura worked hard over the last two months to regain her form and captured the #3 position on the team," noted Levy. "If the season lasted a few more weeks she would have challenged for the top position on the team. Laura is an amazing athlete with a superior work ethic. I expect Laura to be First Team All-NESCAC selection next year."
