Upon graduating from Williams with a degree in
economics/political science, Zafi Levy went to work in New York at
Lehman Brothers as a mortgage trader before returning to Williams
in the summer of 2002.
Levy coaches both the Eph men's and women's squash teams.
Levy played his first year at Trinity College before transferring
to Williams for his sophomore year. He was an All-American all four
years.
Under Levy the Ephs have won eight consecutive Little Three
titles, lifting their current overall streak to 11. In his first
season at the Eph helm in 2002-03 Levy directed the Ephs to an
historic win over Princeton.
Since the 2002-3 season, the Ephs have qualified seven times for
the Howe Cup, the "A" division at the national championships
sponsoredby the Collegiate Squash Association (CSA).
Levy's 2007 Eph team recorded a national ranking of six with an
exciting 5-4 win over Dartmouth at the CSA Championships, marking
the Ephs highest finish at the CSA Championships.
In 2008, the Ephs won the Ramsy Cup, the "B" Division, by beating
Cornell in the final. The Ephs finished second at the NESCAC
Tournament for all four years the event was staged (2007-10).
"I'm very excited to be able to coach the sport I love at such a
special place like Williams," said Levy. I love this place so much,
I feel that I owe something to Williams. I just love working with
these kids."
In addition to his duties with both the men's and women's squash
teams, Levy is the Men’s soccer JV coach and teaches physical
education classes.
Levy was appointed the Coordinator of Intramurals at Williams in
2003 and served until 2008. In addition to his duties with both the

Alison Swain '01 is the Ephs men's and women's JV squash coach and also serves as an assistant coach to Zafi Levy with both Eph varsity squash teams.
Swain's primary assignment is as head coach of women's tennis.
Swain was a four–year letter winner in tennis for the Ephs and a member of the first Williams team to win the NCAA title in 2001.
At Williams Swain was named All-NESCAC, a Scholar-Athlete
All-American and was the recipient of the Torrence M. Hunt
dedication award and the Bourne-Chaffee sportsmanship award.
Swain earned a B.A. with high honors in American Studies, Race and
Ethnicity at Williams.
In the fall of 2001 Swain joined the humanities faculty at
Woodward Academy in College Park, GA, where she also coached
tennis. The 2004 Woodward Academy team finished second in Georgia
in AAAA play, their highest finish ever.
In 2005 Swain earned a certificate in Education for Environment
and Community from IslandWood, A School in the Woods where she
spent a year as a residential field instructor. She continued on to
the University of Washington to complete her Master's in Education.

Blair Dils |

Dils is a Williamstown resident of many years and has been assistant coach for the men's and women's team since the 2005-06 season.
He played for Bowdoin College, graduating in 1990, where he also
played soccer and tennis for four years. He currently assists Coach
Levy with the junior squash programs at the Simon Squash
Center.
Dils is an English teacher at Mount Greylock High School and boys'
varsity soccer coach. He holds his masters degree in English from
The College of Saint Rose. His wife is Jessica Storey Dils, and
together they have three children, Tommy, Miranda and Sam.
