Caroline Wilson Named NESCAC Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week

HADLEY, MA -- Williams College senior swim standout Caroline Wilson (West Hartford, CT) was named the NESCAC Women's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week for winning three events in the Ephs' dual meet with Fordham and Boston College held at Fordham last Saturday.

Wilson, who already has 8 NCAA individual titles to her credit, secured first place finishes in three events to lead the way for Williams. Her 8 NCAA titles ties her for third most at Williams with Lindsay Payne '06. Only Katherine Eckrich '85 (10) and Logan Todhunter '12 (11) are ahead of Wilson in NCAA individual titles won.
She touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.1), the 200-yard

breaststroke (2:25.73) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.10). Wilson also anchored her team's 400-yard freestyle relay team, posting a split time of 52.36.

The Ephs defeated Boston College 225-75 but fell 166-128 to Fordham.

The Ephs will close out the fall semester portion of their schedule with a meet at Connecticut College this Saturday.
