6 Women, 2 Men earn national academic honors from USTFCCCA

Six members of the Williams College Track & Field team join two members of the Eph men’s team in collecting national All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

To be named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team each student-athlete must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and have qualified for the NCAA indoor or outdoor championships.

One senior, three juniors and two sophomores earned women’s honors. NCAA 10,000-meter champion Lauren Philbrook was the lone Eph senior selected to the team. Juniors joining Philbrook on the team included Jessica Clarke, Olga Kondratjeva and Nora Mitchell. Lizzy Danhakl and Meghan Shea represented the Eph sophomore class.

Seniors Stew Buck and Eric Jonash garnered national academic honors on the men’s side.
