TROY, NY -- The women's track and field team placed third with 43 points after the second and final day of competition at the ECAC meet. Ithaca won the meet with 68 points, Wheaton (Mass.) was second with 60 points, and Amherst placed fourth with 40 points.
On the track, Olivia Delia '12 placed second in the 1500m with a time of 4:37.87. Maya Harakawa '12 placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.65.
In the shot put, Amina Avril '14 and Eileen Becker '12 placed fourth and fifth respectively. Avril recorded a mark of 12.90m and Becker threw 12.67m. Avril also placed second in the discus with a 44.39m.
The Ephs next comepete from May 24 to 26 at the NCAA Championship held in Claremont, CA.
