Diversity and Intercollegiate Athletics

The Athletic Department is committed to fostering a culture that accepts, appreciates, and values all individuals. It is our mission to create an inclusive environment and for each person to feel he or she is an important member of the department, college, and broader community.

We place high value on recognizing and welcoming the differences of our student-athletes. We are dedicated to cultivating a community where all perspectives are welcomed and students have opportunities to educate and learn from one another.

You Can Play

You Can Play video poster
Williams College is proud to support the You Can Play project. Athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators collaborated alongside members of SAAC and the Davis Center to produce the video in support of YCP. Of those involved, the hope is that this video serves as another step forward in the mission to eradicate homophobia in sport by supporting the You Can Play project and showing younger prospective student-athletes that Williams College is an accepting environment for all athletes, regardless of sexual orientation.
