Welcome to Intramural (IM) Sports at Williams!
The Intramural Sports (IM) program at Williams is designed to build community, learning, and wellness at Williams while giving students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in athletics outside of the competitive world of varsity and club sports. Intramural student-athletes do not leave campus or compete intercollegiately. IM Sports are competitive, fun, and organized leagues hosted on campus and open to all Williams students, faculty, and staff
There are three IM seasons: fall, winter study, and spring. Sports such as IM Soccer, IM Basketball, IM Volleyball, and IM Softball are cornerstone sports of the IM program with other fun and compelling niche sports such as badminton, dodgeball, golf, pickleball, squash, tennis, and more being offered in short seasons or tournaments designed to offer maximum benefit with minimum time commitment.
The number of games varies by season and sport and there are usually no more than two games per week. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to sign up as a team, or as an individual “free agent” and can do so with their williams.edu address through IMLeagues.com at the link below.
